First of all it must be said that this four-song EP, all of it available to hear on the band's official MySpace, is intended for the trade only, and was conceived to present to the press the second full-length, Party Music For Graveyards, due next winter.
It holds three brand-new songs and a cover of the Ramones' Pet Sematary, a song that even in its original version seems made for a Bloody Mary-style reading. Aldebran's warm, penetrating vocals mischievously cradle melodies at once deep and catchy: if you loved the debut album Blood n Roll, released in 2005 by the English SixSixSix Records, owned by Dave Pybus (Anathema, Cradle Of Filth), you will surely like these compositions too, because the sound, poised between HIM and the more gothic 69 Eyes, is the same.
An excellent appetiser, ideal to quench the thirst for blood and rock and roll of all the vampires anxiously awaiting the Italian quintet's second record.
