Everything that you love is bound to fade
forgetting it's so frail
you play it until it's broken,
one by one and again and again,
you digest every bowel
but you need a 2nd chance
to satisfy what's called desire.
I'll close the door over your face
breaking my life without thinking twice
and no more thoughts and not surprise
the pleasure's closed just in your eyes,
I'll close the door.
You live in a "where",
where everything it's so hard
always been looking for
the darkest of all havens,
you deceived yourself,
you could find inside of me,
it won't be me who'll give you a chance
for I'm not here to await you.
In the time warp were I forgot myself
I've always been looking for something
to redeem me and make me pure
take me out now from the void,
like a pyre my standing blue life
drain me down from human grace,
just when I lost hope and faith
I caught you deadly flower.
Hey! Little sister...
You could be the first to break my heart,
I'll never let you down,
for your poison never leave my veins.
You were able to water my roots
with the warm of your bitter tears
you made me drink all your juice
refresh my unsafe condition,
if life was an affect
for sure you were the cause,
like ivy you flooded my walls
how will I spread out my self?
Hey! Little sister...
What d'you think to do for me tonight?
But don't stay so close to me please
'cause I need some time to breathe.
Passion has to be dosed not to get too sick of love,
if you get it every day you'll never have time to desire
and in the time warp like me you'll close down
always been looking for something to remain
afloat on the sea of the human deadly race.
It's time to rise grant my silent prayer
from the ground flood my limbs and hair
with the light of night whispers are coming close,
tell some fairy tales blow scrawly spells.
Beware this tear of rain and fear,
stay far from blood that it kills
I'd make you shake, shake, 'till you bleed...
The rest comes back hangs over the wood,
lymph that teems panting murmurs gasp,
grasp the air to breathe weak and feeble voice
forgets a latest drop, falls Inside of her.
Beware this tear of rain and fear,
stay far from blood that it kills
I'd make you shake, shake, 'till you bleed...
I find no way to shut my rage
well it's no use to destroy,
destruction silents flown away, away.
I find no tears to lie them down
the skin that used to be mine
For tears have turned into a flood,
flushed soul.
Beware this tear of rain and fear,
stay far from blood that it kills
I'd make you shake, shake, 'till you bleed...
I find no way to shut my rage
well it's no use to destroy,
destruction silents flown away, away.
And no more tears and no more tears...
Dreamer... Just a cast away,
I’ve always been and now, I realize.
Tasting the sorrow I’ve learnt to understand:
It’s just sorrow that makes you blind.
The dreamer, dreams other worlds
to escape tediousness of grey tired days.
Tasting the sorrow I’ve learnt to understand:
It’s just sorrow that makes you blind,
and then you don’t care for the rest, of the world,
no one cares if you’re falling down.
My world is dying and I don’t cry,
You are so fine, sorry, but I’m so blind.
A dreamer takes on a mile
happiness an inch betray, run away.
Dreamer... Just a cast away,
I’ve always been and now, I realize...
My soul is dark, oh! Quickly strings
the harp I yet can brook to hear,
and let thy gentle fingers fling
it's melting murmurs o'er mine ear.
If in this heart a hope be dear
that sound shall charm it forth again,
if in these eyes there lurk a tear
'twill flow, and cease to burn my brain.
Oh, it will flow, Oh! It will flow.
Oh, it will flow, Oh! It will flow.
But bid the strain be wild and deep
nor let thy notes of joy be first,
I tell thee, minstrel, I must weep
or else this heavy heart will burst.
Oh, it will flow, Oh! It will flow.
Oh, it will flow, Oh! It will flow.
..and cease to burn in my brain.
..and cease to burn in my brain.
I thought it would be easy to forget you
for after all it’s been such a long time
and yet the memories of you still hurt me
they’ve been inscribed with needles in my mind
I’m sure I could convince you
if only would let us meet again.
Face to face, heart to heart ...face to face, heart to heart.
Think back to when we were together
how long we thought our mutual love would last
how hard it was for us to leave each other
is all of that now buried in the past
I’m sure I could convince you
if only you would let us meet again.
Face to face, heart to heart ...face to face, heart to heart.
Face to face, heart to heart ...face to face, heart to heart.
Face to face, heart to heart ...face to face, heart to heart.
Face to face, heart to heart ...face to face, heart to heart.
Face to face, heart to heart ...face to face, heart to heart.
Face to face, heart to heart ...face to face, heart to heart.

This is the gothic-metal-rock that I like so much! Energetics plus the flying ultra-melodity, plus a light tint of darkness, plus serious, heavy guitars, plus a cold detached voice (besides one more type of voice - emotionally suffering but luckily, far from pederasty), plus talent for arranging, plus permant…

After its birth in spring 2000, the rock gothic band BLOODY MARY began writing its first songs and playing concerts in and around Milan. In December they finally went into the studio for the first time and recorded their first album, titled "RED".

Strange 1980s new wave, and this time, when I say new wave influences, I mean much more than a few key points here and there. Everything here, from the clear vocal work to the instrumentation and the rhythm, reflects this Italian band's connection with new wave.

The gothic rock / metal scene has virtually exploded the last few years with new bands being unveiled every week. The Italian Bloody Mary are one of those and came to life in the spring of 2000 when guitarist Stranger and bass player LaRouge met in their home town of Milan.

For all lovers of the eighties, here are Bloody Mary! Mind you, the nostalgics I mean are not first-hour old metalheads like yours truly, but all the youngsters who, like me (I know, I'm worse than parsley, I'm everywhere!), were into dark sounds in the early '80s.
